Key Specifications

• Purpose: Variablelength auger extensions are designed to extend the drilling reach of a Belltec hydraulic auger drive, while offering adjustable insertion depth — multiple pinning positions along the shaft allow flexible use without needing a fixed single length. Variable models have additional holes spaced along the shaft so you can choose how far the extension inserts into the auger bit coupler.
• Coupler / Shaft Sizes:
  – 2″ Hex VariableLength Extension (female hex to male hex with multiple adjustment holes)
  – 2″ Round VariableLength Extension (female round to male round with multiple adjustment holes)
  – 2.5″ Round VariableLength Extension (female 2.5″ round to male 2.5″ round with multiple adjustment holes)
• Compatibility: Works with Belltec auger drives and similar drives that match the coupler shaft size (hex or round) and with augers having a hollow shaft coupler compatible with the extension type.
• Adjustment / Hole Spacing: Variable models include additional pin holes spaced at regular intervals (e.g., every ~14″ along the shaft as allowed by length) so drilling depth can be adjusted without changing extensions.
• Lengths Available (variable): Variablelength extensions are offered in various lengths corresponding to overall fixed lengths used for adjustable pin positions; typical choices include the same length ranges as fixed (e.g., 24″, 36″, 48″, 60″, 72″), with multiple pin holes along each shaft for adjustment.
• Coupler / Adjustment Holes: Variable extensions include a series of pin holes spaced down the extension shaft so you can adjust how deep the extension inserts into the auger bit coupler and thus vary drilling depth.
